GK Favs :: Curly Girly Hair

Since moving to wordpress and gaining so many new readers (thank you!!!) I’ve received several e-mails asking about my favorite beauty products. Most of the inquiries are in regard to what hair products are my favorites: shampoos, conditioners, styling products. I’ve been asked by other Curly Girlys what works for me, so here goes.

At any given time, I alternate between two different shampoos and conditioners. One of my absolute favorites for my crazy, curly hair is the Curly Sexy Hair shampoo and conditioner (made by sexy hair). I had been a fan of the Big Sexy Hair styling products and once I tried Curly Sexy Hair, I knew I had found a new personal must-have. After using Curly Sexy Hair Shampoo and Conditioner, my curls looked great; each ringlet better defined.

The Curly Sexy Hair styling products are also pretty fantastic but I don’t buy them very often. I do, however, rely on John Frieda‘s styling products on a regular basis.

Currently, my alternate shampoo and conditioner are John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Shampoo and Full Repair Conditioner. I am particularly loving the Full Repair Conditioner; this was actually my first time buying this one and it works.

The Full Repair Deep Infusion ends treatment is amazing! I love how it smooths my very frizzy, dry ends. I’ll always keep a bottle of this around. Right now, I’m using John Frieda’s Frizz-Ease 3 Day Straight Spray and Secret Weapon Creme when I straighten my hair. Love the results I get when I straighten my hair with these two products, even on South Florida’s coast!

I also wanted to share some of my favorite hair products because I’ll be putting other hair products to the test and sharing my results and wanted to give you guys some kind of an idea of what I’m working with now. My boyfriend’s Madre gave me a bottle of Wen Conditioning Cleanser after experiencing great results herself and I have yet to give it a try. I’ll be sure to share with you my thoughts about Wen!

Thanks for reading!
