As you know, I LOVE trying new beauty products! And although I have my favorites, I always like to give others a chance to “wow” me!
Recently, I’ve been using the Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner by Organix. It. Is. Wonderful! I almost couldn’t believe just how silky and soft this combo leaves my very dry, damaged hair.
One day, after I had begun using this Shampoo and Conditioner combo, I was enjoying a surf day at the beach. My hair holds a hair-tie pretty damn well and it’s rare that I lose a hair-tie once it’s in there. (I’ve lost bobby-pins and hair ties IN my hair but never lost them bc they fell out of my hair). After one particularly swift wave crashed upon me, I ducked under water and when I rose up, my hair tie had been washed out and lost forever. When I reached back to verify that my hair-tie had indeed gone out to sea, my hair felt so incredibly silky and it made total sense why my hair-tie had washed out so easily.
At this point in the day, I had been playing in the waves for several hours and had already tied and retied my hair-tie several times and it was in there quite tightly. My hair was that soft, that silky and smooth that the hair-tie simply slipped out. Although I was miffed about not having a hair-tie for the rest of the afternoon, I couldn’t help but be impressed with just how well this Shampoo and Conditioner combo from Organix works!
This isn’t the first time I’ve used Organix products. I tried and quite enjoyed their Nourishing Coconut Milk combo a while ago. I also used a couple of the accompanying styling products; it’s a great and effective line. However, this time, I was über impressed with the condition in which this Shampoo and Conditioner left my hair.
Not only would I recommend this line from Organix, I would insist that others with damaged or otherwise dry hair use these. It truly is, renewing.
I have a couple of other Shampoo/Conditioner products that I’m eager to give a try very soon. One, is another Shampoo and Conditioner combo by Organix: Ever-Striaght Brazilian Keratin Treatment. The other is Wen cleansing conditioner. It seems, right now, the “in” thing in hair is definitely Keratin/Brazilian treatments. Now, do I really believe this Shampoo and Conditioner combo with make this crazy, curly hair of mine go pin straight? No. But I am excited to see how it works through my dense curls. Maybe relax them a bit temporarily? We shall see. As far as the Wen product goes: I’m not as eager to try it, but I will. My ex-boyfriend’s mom gave me the bottle after she used the line of products and was quite happy with her results. Between you and me, I didn’t notice a visible difference but perhaps it felt nicer after use. I’m happy for the gift and chance to give this product a try but I am very doubtful that I’ll experience fabulous results “after just one use” as the infomercial promises. Who knows, though? Perhaps Wen really is that fantastic!

Oh my god girl! I can’t bealive you actually lost your hairtie that way. And I always thought when the hair gets wet, like when ur in the water, the ponytail will never slides it. Uh-oh, so wrong I was. 😛 My hair is to below my shoulders and it NEVER slides out when it gets wet so maybe I should try this out. ^^ You should try to do other things like dancing, jumping or whatever xD and see if it slides out. And tell us about the result in your blog? My hair is super-slippery and once I’m throwing with my hair (and it’s pulled up) the hairtie will find it’s way out in seconds. But never in the water.. NEVER ! 😛 This is so weird, haha.
Thanks for reading all the way over in Sweden!
