Goop Loot

I fell off the wagon. I dropped the ball. I’m not posting a daily threads post today.

I just didn’t feel like it and honestly, you’re not missing much but there is something else I wanted to express and it is my eagerness to receive my October Birchbox.

On the tenth, I received my shipping notification email from Birchbox and have been checking my tracking number regularly since. Now, the email I received mentions how “this month, Birchbox has teamed up with Goop.com… [blah blah blah…]” but it doesn’t mention anything about the alternative October Birchbox, Transformation. So does that mean I am one of the subscribers who will be receiving a Goop Birchbox? I’ve been assuming “yes”.

The products in the Goop Birchbox look ah-maze-zing.

  • Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss
  • Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara
  • Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum
  • DDF Wrinkle Resist Pore Minimizer Moisturizing Serum
  • Essie Nail Polish

Give me! Give me! Give me!

The transformation box looks pretty good too, though:

  • Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner
  • Vitivia Pro:Vitamin A15 and Pro:Vitamin C10
  • Harvey Prince Hello 50ml
  • Harvey Prince Hello 8.8ml
  • Benta Berry G-1 Moisturizing Face Cream

If you haven’t already, check out the sneak peek video:

I’m hoping, that when I get home from work tomorrow, my amazing October Goop Birchbox will be waiting for me. Also, when the hell does GlossyBox ship? I’m due to receive my very first GlossyBox this month and I haven’t heard anything out of them in over a month. I’m getting anxious…

Another quick thing I’d like to mention is a contest being held my one of my favorite blogs for redheads How to be a Redhead. The contest is being held through HTBAR’s Instagram and I am crossing my fingers that I win the goods. The afore mentioned goods are redhead approved by the girls at HTBAR and are provided by Whip Hand Cosmetics.

If you’re one of my [fellow] Ginger readers and you’re on Instagram, I think you should enter asap! Make sure to follow both @HowtobeaRedhead and @WhipHandCosmetics. While you’re at it, you can follow me @GingerKate!

Thanks for reading! Love, GK

  1. I think BirchBox has really been mixing things up in their boxes recently, cuz my box is a bit different. Also, I’ve already gotten the BentaBerry, Hello perfume and Eyeko liner. Every time I look at reviews for recent boxes, people are getting stuff I got a while ago.

Mine should come today, it’s a Goop box, but it’s:
    LUNA Bar
    Marie Veronique Organics Body Oil
    Joanna Vargas Daily Serum
    Sprout Lip Balm Flights
essie® fall picks Nail Polish Collection

    1. They have been! I’ve noticed the same when checking out what other Birchbox girlies receive. I have also received Hello and an Eyeko liner; in fact, those are two of my favorite samples I’ve received (especially the eyeko liner). I’ve never received the BentaBerry though.

I still don’t know what the status of my Birchbox is because the tracking number hasn’t been updated in the last two days. Once it makes it to WPB it usually arrives the next day so it simply HAS to arrive either today or tomorrow. I’m receiving a LUNA bar too and I’m very disappointed with that. (I hate receiving anything other than cosmetics, unless it’s an extra.)

Thanks so much for your comment, Lauren. As usual, its amazing. AND, to other readers, this reader is the lady who turned me onto Birchbox!

      1. I loved the BentaBerry so much I ordered the full product… which is super tiny and I will probably never actually purchase again but MAN is it a nice, luxurious-feeling moisturizer.

And yeah, totally agree on the bummer Luna bar. We have them for free in my break room – not exactly something I care to pay for. BUT I’m stoked about the Essie polish cuz some of the colors look awesome. And the Sprout balm.

Also, you turned me on to GlossyBox, getting my first one any day now, so we are even 😉
