UPDATE:
Here’s a sneak peek at my October Glossybox and Birchbox.
I’m so in love with GlossyBox. Birchbox on the other hand has fallen way short (again).

you got the exact same box as me. i feel better knowing that i’m not the only one disappointed by this box! every sample is pretty much for one application only. there’s so much empty space in the box because the samples were all about the size of my thumbnail! im considering canceling my subscription and subscribing to glossybox now, the glossybox looks pretty amazing
GlossyBox IS amazing.
I’m giving Brichbox one more month; if it sucks again, I’m cancelling for sure. Even if next month’s box is worthwhile, I’ll still probably end up cancelling. I’ve been looking at some other subscription beauty boxes and I think it’s time for something new.
If other GlossyBox months are anything like this month, I don’t think I’ll ever cancel. GlossyBox is $21 per month compared to Birchbox’s $10 but it is beyond worth it (from what I can tell so far).

You received the exact Birchbox I did and OMG it sucked so bad!! I was soo disappointed this month! Especially after all the goop sneak peaks they were posting on facebook. The only good thing was the masks and I think it’s only one inside. I signed up for My Glam recently and my October bag blew Birchbox out of the water. The last couple of months my boxes have been pretty good but this month has me considering canceling and sticking with My Glam. I may give Glossybox a chance. It looks pretty nice!
Thank you! Its absolutely horrid isn’t it? Other people got a full bottle of essie and other great products, why were us unlucky ones stuck with this dud?
GlossyBox is awesome (from what I can tell so far)! I’ve been researching Ipsy and I’m thinking about ditching Birchbox for that one each month.
It should be noted that after bashing my box via twitter, @BirchboxOps contacted me about discussing my extreme disappointment with this months box (and past boxes). I’ll definitely share the outcome of that discussion. They requested my contact info but have yet to contact me.

Wow. What a crummy introduction to subscription boxes! Check into GlossyBox. Ipsy is another (previously MyGlam). I’ve never received an Ipsy box but I’m looking into signing up for theirs. GlossyBox is so worth the extra $11 per box. I got 5 (seemingly) full size products.
