By now, you all know I’m a bonafide nail polish junkie. No matter where I go, I seem to walk out with at least one new nail polish. As much as I like long-lasting, quality brands and shades, I can’t help but constantly buy cheap polishes. (Cheap nail polishes are the best!)
While picking up a few necessary items from CVS, I spotted the cheapest nail polishes in the store, Confetti. All of a sudden I found myself planted directly in front of the display, crouching down, perusing the colors.
The first one that I spotted that I particularly liked was #087, Moonstruck. I added it to my shopping basket. Then, like a moth to a flame, my inner gay man guided my hand directly to the most glittery top coat #004, Tazmanian Devil.
Glitter, sparkle and lots of fun is the current holiday season trend in nails. (Its also a “trend” I participate in year round.) I decided to rock my new cheapies together in a fun, glitzy mani.
(Obviously,) I started with Moonstruck. A beautiful, muted purple.
Then, I applied Tazmanian Devil to the tips. I didn’t worry about this being even at all. I pretty much just slapped that glitter on and embraced the haphazard, fancy free fun.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I love cheap nail polish.
Thanks for reading! I’d love to hear what some of your favorite, cheap-o, drug store brand polishes are! I’d also love seeing your fun, holiday, glittery nails!!!
Love, GK
