Ok, so, the night before MegaCon, the Treasure Coast Cosplayers celebrated one year of Cosplay Karaoke at my bar. To help make it a night to remember, I wanted to make some nerdy themed cupcakes. Luckily, one of my good friends is an extremely talented artist and baker and she was happy to help me. She taught me how to work with fondant and baked some truly amazing cupcakes. I was so proud of how they turned out!! I may have found a new crafty passion; I really got into working with the fondant!
Everyone, including Sarah and one of my favorite friends, Jo (pictured above) loved them! Since I’ve been posting gallery after gallery, here’s another one for you guys. Happy 1 year anniversary Treasure Coast Cosplayers! Cheers to more years of local cosplay (and karaoke) to come!
For this month’s Cosplay Karaoke party with TCC, I went with an easy cosplay of a Gryffindor… Since I am a Gryffindor, I have plenty of clothes and accessories to chose from. I was also wearing Hermione’s timer-turner necklace and wielding her wand so maybe this was a Hermione cosplay?
Anyway, we all had a blast and my friends are pretty damn cool.
Our after hours Dennys noshing seems to be becoming a ritual as well…
Last month, the Cosplay Karaoke party I hosted at the bar I work at was such a great success, that those of us over at Treasure Coast Cosplayers decided to do another one last night. I dressed as The Riddler but I wish I had gotten more pics of what everyone was wearing.
After all the fun and drinking, a bunch of us finished the night at Steak N Shake where the poor service gave us plenty of time to bullshit and draw on our placemats.
